Jordan Weiss
Manager, Business Development
Jordan received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and is currently pursuing his MBA. Following graduation, Jordan worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers as an assistant manager of security and guest relations, where he managed a game day staff of over 250 people and helped coordinate and execute numerous team related events. Before joining the ITTS team as Manager of Business Development, Jordan worked for a Southern California based medical technologies company where he began as administrative assistant to the CEO and was then promoted to Sales Associate. Jordan brings his strong entrepreneurial spirit, innovative ideas and outstanding organizational skills to the ITTS team.

Dave Keortge
LAPD SWAT Operator/Instructor

Dave has been a Police officer for 17 years with the LAPD and has been assigned to the elite Metropolitan Division since the year 2000. In addition to being an operator on the SWAT team, Dave is also a part of the "firearms cadre" where he provides firearms training for the platoon. He is part of the breaching cadre, climbing cadre, defensive tactics cadre and sniper cadre and is HITS, SITS and RITS qualified by LAPD. Dave has been teaching with ITTS for over a decade.
Rob Blicharski
Sergeant, Southern California Police Department (Former SWAT Operator)
ITTS Instructor
Rob is a Sergeant with a Los Angeles-area based police department, and has been in law enforcement for over 15 years. Formerly a Detective, his investigative experience includes high profile celebrity cases, violent crime series, and cross-country child abduction cases. He is also a former operator on the department's collateral SWAT team, and is a POST-certified firearms instructor. Rob has served in various capacities and assignments, from patrol in Westwood to patrol in Watts, and everything in between. He was also a member of the Narcotic Enforcement Team working in the heart of Los Angeles.
Rob has attended a multitude of investigative, firearms, and anti-terrorism related schools where he has trained under the direction of some of the most renowned and recognized instructors. Rob has been involved with ITTS for over a decade.
Troy Thomas
LAPD SWAT Team Leader/Instructor
ITTS Instructor
Troy has been a police officer for 21 years with LAPD and has been a SWAT team member for 13. As a senior SWAT Officer who has been selected to command the entry team on all high risk situations, Troy has been involved in numerous capacities including building entries, hostage rescues, sniper deployments, high risk warrants, dignitary protection, explosive breaching and tactical waterborne deployment.
Bill Kelly
LAPD Sergeant II

Bill has been a police officer for 21 years with LAPD and has spent over 15 years training civilians, law enforcement and military as a handgun, shotgun and rifle instructor. He is HITS, SITS and RITS qualified by LAPD, and is a past recipient of the prestigious “Police Medal” for bravery. Bill is a former Building Search Training Instructor for the California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI), California Governor's Office of Emergency Services. He was also formerly a part of Metropolitan Division "A" Platoon, "B" Platoon, Metro Cutting and Rappel Team. Bill has been assigned to several different Divisions including West Valley Division, Rampart Division, Wilshire Division and Van Nuys Division, and was also an investigator for Internal Affairs.
Andy Markel
Sergeant and Use of Force Instructor, LAPD

Sergeant Markel is a veteran of the United States Navy and a 21 year veteran of the LAPD. During his years in the Navy, he graduated basic training in Great Lakes, Ill., and Operations Specialist “A” school in Dam Neck, Va. He was then assigned to the USS New Jersey, BB-62 in Long Beach, Ca. During his last year he was the training Petty Officer for Operations Intelligence Division on board the Battleship.
As part of the LAPD, Andy has been assigned to several different Divisions and assignments. He has worked at Southeast Division, Newton Division, West Valley Division, Operations-Valley Bureau, Administrative Vice Division, Van Nuys Division and Training Division. He has worked the following assignments: Patrol, Juvenile car, CRASH (gangs), Field Training Officer (FTO), vice, administrative auditor, abatements, patrol sergeant, community relations sergeant, vice sergeant and Officer-in-Charge of the Tactics Training Unit. As Officer-in-Charge of the Tactics Unit for the LAPD since September 1999, his responsibilities include: teaching Use of Force to Recruit Officers and In-Service Officers, advisor to the Use of Force Review Board which adjudicates all officer involved shootings. He assists and testifies for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office with officer involved use of force civil litigation cases. He testifies at Los Angeles Police Department Board of Rights cases.
As a use of force instructor, Sergeant Markel is on several State of California committee’s. He is on the following learning domains committees: 20-use of force, 21-pedestrian stops, 22-vehicle pullovers, 23-crimes in progress. He is also a Handgun instructor, TASER instructor, and beanbag shotgun instructor. Sergeant Markel is also a certified instructor for the Incident Command System, (ICS 100-200-300-400-700-800 and L-449) and Weapons of Mass Destruction, (Law Enforcement Protective Measures, Law Enforcement Response Actions and Threat 8) by the Department of Homeland Security.
